Thursday 4th October Club Zanadu Party Night Launch with free entry for Ladies before 10pm. Club Zanadu will have regular Thursday night parties without resrtriction for under 30's

Thursday 4th October Aldridge based downs syndrome charity "PROUD" are excited to announce, that Mike Wallace and Kevin Marshall will be visiting all 42 Scottish football clubs over 2 days taking a photograph of each club as they go around to raise money for PROUD. Many thanks to AVIS who have sponsored the hire car for this journey. Friday 5th October Concert at 7.30 by the Sibylline Singers Ladies Choir held in Aldridge parish church to raise funds for the Samantha Dixon Brain Tumour trust. Tickets �5

Saturday 6th October meeting of Parents, Relatives & Others Understanding Down's Syndrome (PROUD) in Aldridge at the Hothouse in Myatt Avenue between 2pm and 4 pm

Sunday 7th October Walsall Group of Advanced Motorists monthly meeting at 9.30 am till 12 noon at Aldridge Community Centre.

Sunday 7th October PROUD are taking part in Dudley's Festival of Water and light. The event kicks off in the afternoon around 2.30pm and the actual fairytales themed boat parade starts at 7.30pm. PROUD's boat is "Alice in Wonderland" If anyone feels like helping us decorate the boat, we will be down at the Waterfront on Saturday morning 9am til Midday.

Wednesday 10th October Aldridge Bridge Club meet at 7:15 till 10pm in Aldridge Community Centre

Thursday 11th October Aldridge Photographic Society Meeting at 7.45pm till 10pm in Aldridge Community Centre ( regular meetings held every Thursday )

Saturday 13th October Walsall-wide event taking place at the new art gallery in Walsall town centre, put together in collaboration by Walsall MBC and Walsall tPCT. The day is called Walsall Wellbeing Festival and is a family event which brings together many agencies from around the borough to promote health and wellbeing in a creative way. On the day there will be stands from various local agencies, workshops to try out different things such as arts, crafts and complementary therapies as well as the current art exhibitions. Wednesday 17th October PROUD AGM is being held at 8pm at The Irish Harp Pub in Aldridge

Thursday 18th October Aldridge and District Lions Club Meeting where visitors are always welcome to come along and meet the Lions at Barons Court Hotel, Walsall Wood, starting 8pm till 10pm

Friday 19th October Walsall Illuminations Switch on with Sponge Bob Squarepants at 7pm to start the six weeks light show which runs untill 2 nd December. Walsall light Illuminations provides the brightest night out in the Midlands and an attraction for all the family, which includes a family friendly Jungle River Ride, a massive splash log flume ride (tickets �2), River of Light show by local artist "Chu", Dancing illuminated Water display set to music, Laser and Lights spectacular giant projection over the arboretum lake, Groovy Chick and Disco Diva in lights for the very first time, spectacular ultra violet juggling extravaganza from internationally famous Gandini Juggling, the "Sparky Marquee" for loads of fun shows and activities for all the family, and Zardon Prince of Tharp in Walsall with a very special message for all visitors. Wednesday 24th October Aldridge "Rant, Rave & React" (3R�s) from 10am till 3pm at Aldridge Manor House, Little Aston Road, Aldridge, Walsall. WS9 8NJ. This is a opportunity for societies, clubs and groups who specialise in young people activities. E.g. yoga, keep fit, martial arts to pre-book a slot to give a performance or demonstration. This will also be the time when you can gather specific information you need, or talk with a particular group of young people. You are cordially being invited to have a stall to promote your activities aimed at young people, advertise what services are being offered at present and provide information on services planned for the upcoming months. Your presence is an integral part of the consultation methodology as well as being an opportunity to directly access a captive audience of your potential customers. Friday 26th October Rod Stewart Experience with Garry Pease. Tickets are selling very quickly for this popular event but there are still some left on sale at the venue The Lazyhill Public House, Walsall Wood Road, Aldridge at �10 each includes food. (Over 18�s only).
