May 2008 Archive

Aldridge was twinned with Montelimar, Drome in France 44 years ago in May 1964
Aldridge international Association was created to foster links with Montelimar and the appointed secretary was Mr S Allen of Cotswold Close in Aldridge. Montelimar is a beautiful town well known for producing nougat made from local honey and almonds. I would be very interested to hear any details and thoughts about the twinning of Aldridge with Montelimar, and i shall be researching this with a view to rebuilding links with Montelimar in the spirit of Town Twinning. If you are interested or indeed have any information please contact me. Thank you, Alan, Aldridge website.
