(every wednesday) Wednesday Aldridge Bridge Club meet at 7:15 till 10pm in Aldridge Community Centre. (Regular meeting each Wednesday) Thursday 2nd October 2.30pm - Ladies Afternoon Tea in Association with House of Fraser Sutton Coldfield. Guest Speaker: Clinique Afternoon Tea ???12. Afternoon Tea & Champagne ???18. The Plough and Harrow have guest speakers from the leading cosmetics and skincare houses talking about and demonstrating their products, which will also be avaliable to purchase on the day. Friday Walsall Handspinners meet every Friday evening from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Anchorage Club ( opposite the Community Centre) in Aldridge. A friendly and informal group of all ages who share their skills and interests in working with any type of fibre including wool, silk, cotton, dog hair, cashmere, angora, linen and man made fibres.
Friday Night Line Dancing Social Night complete with a little tuition held at Aldridge Community Centre from 7pm until 10pm. Sunday 26th October, Birmingham Half Marathon, Jessica Element is the fundraiser at Walsall Heart Care which is a local medical charity. It provides cardiac rehabilitation and after care to people who have suffered a heart attack, undergone heart surgery and surgical intervention or suffer from other coronary heart conditions. Through Heart Care's unique exercise programme patients can return to a normal, healthy, active life.

Sample the delights of the continent as Aldridge hosts its first ever Continental Market. The town will be awash with colour as dozens of market stalls will convene at Aldridge Shopping Centre from Friday 31 October to Sunday 2 November selling a variety of food and drink. The market will be open between 9am ??? 5.30pm on Friday and Saturday and 9am until 4pm on Sunday. Mouthwatering continental produce from France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Holland and Poland will be on display and available to purchase at the market, including Swiss and French cheeses, patisseries and croissants, fresh bread, Corsica saucissons, Muscadet wines, Swedish cider and much more! Sweet-toothed visitors will be well catered for, with hand made chocolates, Brittany biscuits and fresh crepes on offer. But it???s not just about the food! Visitors to the market can expect a real buzz around the town with traders wearing their traditional costumes and stalls supremely decorated to match the vibrant colours of their produce. And with Christmas looming on the horizon, there will be a wide variety of unique gifts on offer for the whole family. Organised by Walsall Council in conjunction with the Aldridge Village Business Partnership and supported by London & Cambridge Properties, this event will be one of the highlights this autumn. With lively stalls and plenty of fun, it???s an opportunity that???s not to be missed!
