Friday 14th November, Aldridge Lions Club will be holding an open ???drinks & nibbles??? evening in Stonnall where people can come along, relax over a drink and talk to the members about the work of the Lions. Club President, Clyde Redfern, said, ???Being a part of the largest worldwide charity organisation, we are very keen to see the work of the Lions in Aldridge and District continue and increase. Over the years we have raised much funding to support needed requirements in the local area as well as supporting programmes both nationally and internationally. We have a very keen group of people but we do need more support to maintain and improve the work we do. When we are able to support some of the needs of people, particularly those within our local area, it does give some degree of satisfaction but the great thing is that we have a lot of fun whilst we do so.???
