Greg Hayes from Aldridge will be doing a charity bike ride from 7th Sept for 7 days - Lands End to John O'Groats - 130 miles per day! Why ? you might ask !
Ben Sambrook is a fellow pupil of my son Isaac and at seven years of age was diagnosed with low-grade Glioma which is a rare and aggressive brain tumour. That was three years ago and since then he has had complicated brain surgery and extensive treatment to combat this serious illness enduring months of dis-comfort. Fortunately, against all odds he is still leading the full and typical life of a 10 year old enjoying sports such as football and basketball. However, he still has to be checked every three months. Ben's parents soon realised the research in this area is extremely under-funded and there hasn't been a significant break-through in 20 years and still as yet, the cancer is incurable. This is his just giving web site and his blog site to track them doing it. Ben Sambrook Fund
